The Association welcomes applications for Associate Membership from people living in the immediate vicinity of the gardens, as defined below.
- All addresses at the far end of Eglinton and Glencairn Crescents west of 24 Eglinton Crescent, 27 Glencairn Crescent and 44 Coates Gardens
- Magdala Mews
- Coates Gardens
- Palmerston Place (West side) from Douglas Crescent to Grosvenor Crescent
- Palmerston Place (East side) from Rothesay Place to Chester Street
The constitution limits the number of Associate members to 25, so there is usually a waiting list. Applications to join the waiting list can be made by email to membership@eglintonglencairngardens.co.uk . Once the applicant reaches the top of the Associate members’ waiting list and a membership space becomes free, they will be offered Associate membership.
Please note that once the Associate member sells their property or rents it out, they lose their Associate membership and must return their key (which remains the property of the Association) to an Office Bearer.
The Assessment for Associate membership is reviewed and payable annually and is currently £185 (2026 -2027). A returnable key deposit of £50 will be taken when a key is issued.
